Deserted in an orphanage run by the wicked Miss Hannigan, Annie, ever hopeful that she will find her parents and happiness, escapes to an easier life outside during the Great Depression where tomorrow is always brighter because of hope - and a certain stray dog, Sandy, who tags along for the fun.   

When millionaire Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks takes a shine to Annie, he offers a reward over the radio for her parents to come forward – but Miss Hannigan, her inept brother Rooster and his ditzy girlfriend Lily St. Regis are scheming to get the cash for themselves… 

Based on Harold Grey’s American cartoon strip, Annie is popular family favourite performed by the award winning and highly talented young members of the Norfolk Youth Music Theatre.
