Norwich Theatre Royal Actors Company presents SKYLIGHT Written by David Hare Directed by Peter Wilson In one of London’s less desirable districts, successful restaurateur Tom (Stuart Organ) arrives unannounced at Kyra’s (Romy Tennant) flat. Exploding back into her life he demands forgiveness for their adulterous affair which she ended three years ago, the moment his dying wife discovered its existence. Skylight blends humour, tension, tenderness and confrontation, as Tom and Kyra’s love is challenged by their differing views. A gripping and thrilling play, an impassioned head-on collision of values and confused desires by one of Britain’s most successful playwrights, it was first performed at the National Theatre in 1995 and won the Olivier Award for Best New Play in 1996. Norwich Theatre Royal Actors Company continues its mission to bring the best of contemporary drama to the Playhouse, using home grown creative talent, in this high quality production. Suitable for age 14+
