Norfolk and Norwich Threshold Theatre Group presents FOOTLOOSE The Norfolk and Norwich Threshold Theatre Group are returning to the Playhouse with the 80’s classic Footloose. Featuring such well known songs as “Holding out for a Hero”, “Let’s hear it for the Boy”, “Almost Paradise” and “Footloose”, it tells the story of Ren, a Chicago boy who moves to Bomont where dancing is banned. Breaking every taboo, he succeeds in bringing dancing back to a community affected by tragedy. Based on the Oscar winning film, the musical was released on Broadway in 1998, where it ran for over 700 performances. It has since toured twice in the UK, in 2004 and 2006 before moving to the West End. Now on release for amateur companies, the NNTTG are pleased to present the Norfolk Amateur Premiere of Footloose as their show for 2010. Click here for more information about Threshold Theatre
