AUTUMN SEASON ON SALE NOW!!

Our new season is now on sale, with a fantastic selection of comedy, dance, music and theatre for your enjoyment. Just to give you a little taster of the season, we have comedy from TIM MINCHIN, MARK STEEL, JASON MANFORD, MITCH BENN and RICH HALL, and great theatre including Stewart Lee's hilarious new play ELIZABETH AND RALEIGH and The Reduced Shakespeare Company's condensed version of THE BIBLE. Fantastic music comes from the likes of PENTANGLE, MARI WILSON and the SYD LAWRENCE ORCHESTRA and dance events such as THE BIG BALLET and the flamenco show RELOJ DE ARENA.

We also have some other brilliant shows coming up at the Playhouse a little sooner...

DANNY BHOY will be visiting the theatre on Saturday 6 September at 8pm, fresh from performing his eighth solo show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Come and see why this critically acclaimed Scot has gained such a reputation as a gifted storyteller and comedian. Tickets are £12 or £10 concessions.

AN EVENING OF JAZZ AND CABARET returns once again to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer on Sunday 7 September at 7pm - all tickets £17.50.

Playhouse patron Prunella Scales features in GERTRUDE'S SECRET on Saturday 13 September at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. This new drama, from writer Benedick West, presents a group of sad, comic and bizarre characters in a show quite unlike any you have seen before... Tickets £15 or £12 concessions.
